Launching a new clinic

Today we celebrated the independence of one of our Community Health Workers who is leaving us to start a satellite clinic in Khourtembak, a village about eight hours walk away. This will provide health care for people in that area who will no longer have to walk so many hours to get medical care. This is so exciting! It is one of the long term goals our team has had since opening the primary health care clinic in 2008.

Masir is the CHW who has come so far and received the blessing today to move out on his own. We will miss him but praise God that the time has finally arrived for him to branch out. (He is pictured second from the right on the front row.)
