Beautiful hands and feet

Not able to let vanity rest, even in the bush, I took with me several bottles of nail polish. The girls loved the opportunity to paint their nails and show them off. Here is a circle of beautiful little hands.

One afternoon with the boys I hiked up the mountain behind Grace Farm. I tried to recruit some of the older girls to go with us but they were less than interested. I understand there is some sort of legend about something bad that happens to women or girls who go up on the mountain. Unfortunatly I did not learn details of the legend. Hopefully when the girls saw me returning a couple of hours later with only a scratch on my ankle and a exhausted smile on my face it dispelled some of the fear of the mountain for them.

The boys and I stirred up a gazelle among the boulders and they raced after it as though their lives or manhood depended upon it. Lazaro, the oldest Grace Farm boy, was the only one who hung back at a more sedate pace with me. Upon my astonishment at the other boys' persistance in chasing the gazelle for some 15 minutes I asked,
"What will they do if they catch it?" (unable to hide the skeptism in my tone). He replied simply, "Eat it."
