Timeline

April 11, 1973--born into a home where I was taught from birth about Jesus and serving others as He did

Age six--asked Jesus to be my Savior

Age 17--had strong sense that God would use me and most specifically, my hands, to help young people

Age 19--began developing a more intimate relationship with Jesus

Age 21--knew that I would somehow by involved with missions

Age 30--went on first short term mission trip to Mexico

Age 30--wondered what took me so long to take that step

Age 31--second mission trip to Mexico

Age 31--took Perspectives course, knew that I would go to the mission field long term

Age 32--third mission trip to Mexico

Age 32--first trip to Malawi and South Africa to help at an orphanage and learn about long term missionaries' lives

Age 32--took Perspective course again, felt called to Africa and work as a missionary nurse

Age 32--began prerequisites for Nursing School

Age 34--began 15 month Registered Nurse program and researching mission and humanitarian organizations
