Purpose

A thousand times I've failed,
Still Your mercy remains
And should I stumble again,
I'm caught in Your grace

Everlasting,
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending,
Your glory goes beyond all fame

Your will above all else
My purpose remains
The art of losing myself
In bringing You praise

Everlasting,
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending,
Your glory goes beyond all fame

In my heart and my soul
Lord I give You control
Consume me from the inside out

Lord let justice and praise
Become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Everlasting,
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending,
Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out Lord my soul cries out

Final Clinical Day

Today was our final clinical day at St. Mary's Hospital. Mrs. April set a great example of a compassionate and attentive nurse, willing to inconvenience herself for the patients in a way that was heart warming and encouraging. With us she was constantly soothing and encouraging and helped us perform the procedures in spite of the shaking in our knees and the sweat running down our backs.
I was struck by the weight of responsibility we carried, performing invasive procedures and speaking into the patients' lives. Cool! Although we introduced ourselves as nursing students, the patients seemed to feel we were already nurses and asked many questions to which we do not yet know the answers.
I enjoyed my time there and learned a great deal. Pictured L-R: Dana, Mrs. April, Tu, Kristen, Amy, Brittany, me, Susan, Kelly
